Pomni, whose true identity remains a mystery, stars as the lead in the Glitch Productions series Amazing Digital Circus online, a psychological black-comedy. Details about her are scarce, but it’s known that she’s human and trapped in the Digital Circus as a jester, unable to recall her real name due to the effects of a VR headset.

Pomni’s History

Upon entering the digital circus via a new VR headset, Pomni experienced confusion and fear, questioning the nature of her surroundings, the identity of those around her, how to exit, and how to remove the headset. Her memory of her real name was lost during this process. Caine then gave her a new name. She was introduced to the circus and soon found herself in the middle of an adventure titled “Find the Gloinks.” During this time, Pomni met Jax, who invited her to check on Kaufmo. Kaufmo, lost in ramblings about an exit similar to Pomni’s concerns, was abstracted. Pomni witnessed Ragatha become glitchy following Kaufmo’s attack, prompting her to seek Caine. She stumbled upon an exit door leading to a void, a place reportedly unvisited by others. Caine later returned Pomni to the circus, repaired Ragatha, and banished Kaufmo to the cellar. The defeat of the Gloink queen was celebrated with a digital feast among Pomni and her companions.

Pomni’s Appearance

In the circus, Pomni is portrayed as a short girl with brown hair, slim arms and legs, rosy cheeks, and large eyes featuring red and blue roulette wheel-like pupils. Her attire consists of a red and blue outfit with round shoulders and thighs, adorned with yellow balls at the front, a matching jester hat, red and blue gloves with yellow edges, and pointed red and blue shoes. Her true form in the real world is yet to be revealed.

Pomni’s Personality

Pomni is anxious, cautious, and mentally fragile, with a deep desire to escape the circus. Haunted by the inability to leave or remember her name, she sometimes deceives herself for comfort, such as convincing herself that the circus is merely a dream. Despite these challenges, she shows care for others, exemplified when she checked on Ragatha post-attack by the Abstracted Kaufmo. The sight of The Void in the pilot episode left Pomni deeply traumatized, yet she managed a smile, albeit with a distressed look, indicating possible self-deception or a gradual abstraction process.
